I would never let Raji grow out a beard unless it was for a good cause.
I promised to let him wear a beard to the wedding as long as it is sponsored. He must raise enough money (his goal is currently $2000) to benefit those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
After witnessing the affect Breast Cancer has had on my family, I made it a personal quest to find ways to alleviate the stress on patients.
Both Amit's family and mine have experienced the pain of loved ones as they have made the journey to combat this disease. Breast cancer affects many women today and methods for prevention are unclear. Therefore, we would like to make the effort to help those who have already been diagnosed.
We have picked three very important organizations. These organizations have helped patients make it through recovery. Gilda's Club, Young Survival Coalition and Memory Trust all offer a unique mission statement. I encourage you to read through the message of each and find the one that speaks to your heart.
